Ian White put in the best performance of the Grand Slam Of Darts so far in his win over Steve Hine while Michael Smith looked good but had to survive a late comeback from Adam Smith-Neale.

White smashed ‘The Muffin Man’ 5-1 with 55% on the doubles for The Diamond along the way. The Stoke ace has been well known for not producing his best on occasion on TV but dispelled that with a quality display.
Smith on the other hand had a comeback from his opponent Adam Smith-Neale due to his own doing. He missed 16 darts in the process before then hitting double 20 for the win after the World Master pulled back three legs. This was after being 4-0 down but Bully Boy will not care as he has put some points on the board.
