Rob Cross won a remarkable leg during the Grand Slam of Darts on Saturday afternoon. 'Voltage' was nearly 300 points behind against Mark McGeeney in the first match of their contest.
But McGeeney was unable to use his lead as the Lakeside finalist missed eleven darts on the doubles. Cross punished these matchdarts mercilessly with a 87 checkout to steal the first leg.
The reigning world champion went on to win the game 5-2 and took the lead in Group H at the Grand Slam of Darts.
