Anderson averages 109 in opening win over Clayton as unbeaten run continues, Klaasen out of contention after double defeat

The PDC Home Tour Championship Group is at it's halfway point with three players still in the reckoning to become the inaugural champion.

Gary Anderson is one of those and he had a perfect start to proceedings hitting a 109.2 average in a 6-2 win over Jonny Clayton to make it 10 matches unbeaten in a row in the PDC Home Tour. Along the way 'The Flying Scotsman' hit a 10-darter and seems to be the man to beat so far.

Nathan Aspinall though began proceedings with a victory himself in a good display seeing off Jelle Klaasen 6-3 with a 97 average and six 180's.

'The Cobra's stay in the final has been shortlived with a 6-2 defeat to Jonny Clayton who is now back in contention putting him out of the reckoning.

The PDC Home Tour Championship Group will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.

In addition all live-scores can be followed on DartConnect; with match statistics being available after every match.
