Gary Anderson reached the final at the World Matchplay but nevertheless did not leave Milton Keynes satisfied. Since then though he has spoke about inspiration from snooker World Champion, Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Anderson likened him not being able to find his throw with O'Sullivan's lack of cue action at the World Championship.
“Yes I’m struggling to find my throw the now. It’s all about the throw. It is hard, people don’t realise how hard it is. Being on the road all the time, being away from home. It kind of gets to you," said 'The Flying Scotsman' to DartsWorld.
On Tuesday, the Premier League will restart in Milton Keynes. Anderson will take on Michael Smith with Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen and on a clash with 'Mighty Mike', he admits it doesn't faze him.
"I take it as it comes. To win any tournaments nowadays with all these boys, you've got to beat every one of them. I don't think Van Gerwen is going to get all his own way now. The boys are stepping up the ladder even more now; you've got to beat everyone who is put in front of you."
