Gary Anderson has defeated his World Cup of Darts winning partner, Peter Wright in an 8-5 win in the second game of the night in the Premier League reeling off six consecutive legs from 5-2 down.

Both players averaged 101 but it was Anderson who took the unexpected spoils in the end on the opening night of the second phase.
Wright went into a 4-1 lead early doors against Anderson and was looking good but the latter did comeback to make it 4-2 and make it interesting.
'Snakebite' smashed in a 127 checkout from there to make it 5-2 but again Anderson was there to close the gap and he soon made it 5-5.
Wright's lead was soon eroded with a 98 checkout seeing Anderson hit the front at 6-5 up, he then went to a guaranteed point with five in a row before completing the clinical win.
