Brown dumps out Wright, Searle ends run of qualifier Dragt at Baltic Sea Darts Open

The second Quarter-Final is confirmed at the Baltic Sea Darts Open with Ryan Searle set to face Keegan Brown this evening in Kiel.

Searle saw off qualifier Martijn Dragt who has had a superb weekend but fell in the Last 16 in a quality display from 'Heavy Metal' who averaged 100 and hit three 180's with a high checkout of 128 en route to a 6-2 win.

He was joined by Brown who continues his run punishing a below par Peter Wright 6-4 with a 170 checkout en route and five 180's for 'The Needle'.

This poor display was evidenced in the case of Wright with an 88 average but missing 13 darts at doubles throughout the tie compared to 60% on the outer ring for Brown who now has a big chance in facing Searle next to reach the semi-finals in an open section of the draw.
