Calendar for Premier League Darts 2024: Opening week in Cardiff, playoffs again in London

The calendar for the 2024 Premier League Darts has been announced. Also in the coming season, the prestigious darts competition will consist of 16 nights of play followed by the playoffs.
The Premier League Darts takes place weekly on Thursdays from February through May in playing cities in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany. The best darters in the world compete in this event.
The new season of Premier League Darts kicks off in Cardiff on Thursday, Feb. 1. In addition, February will see visits to the playing cities of Berlin, Glasgow, Newcastle and Exeter.
The touring darts circus will visit Brighton, Nottingham, Dublin and Belfast during the month of March. After that, Manchester and Birmingham are the first two playing cities in April, before visiting Ahoy Rotterdam on Thursday, April 18. Since 2016, Ahoy Rotterdam has been part of the lineup of Premier League Darts. Only during the corona years was it not played there.
The English port city of Liverpool hosts the thirteenth round of play on April 25. Next up are Aberdeen, Leeds and Sheffield. The playoffs of the 2024 Premier League Darts will take place on May 23 at the O2 Arena in London.
Michael van Gerwen is the defending champion in Premier League Darts. The Dutchman was too strong for Michael Smith (10-8) and Gerwyn Price (11-5) on the final night in 2023 to capture his seventh Premier League title.
