Dave Chisnall edged past Simon Whitlock on the opening night of action at the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam in a 6-4 win.
Chisnall after though set his sights firmly on defeating Rob Cross and said that he is a great player but he is ready for him.
He also said he is feeling confident at the moment and that the doubles are the only real thing missing from his game.
“I fancy beating Rob tomorrow. I’m feeling pretty confident at the moment I just need to start finding the doubles.
“I played really well last weekend but just made some mistakes on the final day. Rob is a great player but I’m ready for him,” concluded Chisnall.
