Jonny Clayton produced another brilliant performance as his debut Premier League Darts season continues.
Clayton saw off James Wade 8-5 with a 105 average and two ton plus checkouts to pick up what could be a valuable two points.
"It was a little bit of revenge because James (Wade) hammered me a couple of weeks back. It's a nice feeling obviously to play really well but it was a nice feeling to get one back on James," said Clayton post match to RTL7.
Among his brilliance was a 134 on tops, tops and he discussed his thinking around finishing.
"You think to yourself where do I go and I thought try the double double and it landed and that's all that counts."
"James is the best game finisher I've ever seen, you don't give him any chances and I did in the beginning but it came through in the end."
