Jose de Sousa claimed an 8-3 victory over Gary Anderson on Night 10 of
Premier League Darts with an average just under a ton for 'The Special One'.
De Sousa discussed the importance of the victory both in beating Anderson and his play-off hopes.
"When we play against a player like Gary Anderson, it's bigger because he's a World Champion. He don't play his best game, I punish him in some legs. But a win is a win and for me, two points is very good to start this week," said De Sousa post match.
"I play much better now on my doubles. I feel great with my scoring and my doubles, I can win matches."
On potential further major success
He also discussed whether he thinks it's possible to now add to his Grand Slam triumph the way he is currently playing.
"It's possible, everything is possible. We are the best players in the world, why not."
