Clayton set to face Smith in Premier League Night 16 final in Newcastle

The final of the last night of regular season action in this year's Premier League Darts is confirmed with Jonny Clayton set to face Michael Smith in Newcastle.

For Clayton, it is a game solely to add a fifth and final weekly title to his ranking ahead of next month's play-offs in Berlin, while for Smith, it is an opportunity to avoid being the only player without a weekly win.

Facing Joe Cullen, 'The Ferret' potentially offered a glimpse into the future by disposing of his play-off opponent in a 6-4 victory averaging 96 and hitting four 180's in the process. Next stop for both will be Berlin.

While it was the tie of two players just missing out on Finals Night as Smith saw off a below-par Gerwyn Price who averaged just 88 with one 140 compared to eight from Smith despite hitting three 180's and 75% on his doubles. Who seals the final weekly win?
