The final is set at Players Championship 27 with Rob Cross set to face Peter Wright shortly in the penultimate tournament of the weekend in Barnsley.

After Callan Rydz produced an average of nearly 110 earlier, it was time for Cross to average nearly 111 as he knocked out 'The Riot'. Producing a superb 110.90 with 70% on the doubles, he saw off Rydz 7-5 in a high quality tie.

While for Wright, he ended the run of Ryan Meikle in a 7-2 win albeit only averaging 90 in the end and if 'Voltage' surges into life like in the semi-finals, it could be one-sided.
