Cullen claims victory against Smith in straight shootout to win PDC Home Tour Play-Offs Group Six

Joe Cullen is the latest player through to the semi-finals of the PDC Home Tour after winning in a straight shootout against Jeff Smith to conclude proceedings.

Cullen who impressed in his second chance is now in the semi-finals despite having a make shift set-up due to moving house during the time in which he last played.

'The Rockstar' began proceedings with a 6-3 win over Martijn Kleermaker in which he hit a 94.5 average and a high checkout of 108.

From there, he battled back from 3-1 to see off Chris Dobey in a last leg decider. He continued to put in good displays hitting a 96.8 average and a high checkout of 136 which meant he joined Jeff Smith on four points.

This put into motion a decider between the pair which saw Cullen win 6-4 to make it three out of three and move through to the next round.

The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.

All games will be best of 11 legs and each night’s action will commence at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.

All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
