Smith tops latest PDC Home Tour Play-Offs group after back-to-back wins

Jeff Smith currently leads proceedings in the latest PDC Home Tour Play-Offs group after claiming back-to-back wins to begin his campaign.

Smith began with a 6-1 win over Chris Dobey who came into tonight as a potential favourite to move through but the Canadian showed his class with a 100 average to add his first points on the board early doors.

He followed that up with victory over Martijn Kleermaker. The Dutchman was 4-1 up and missed seven match darts en route but 'The Silencer' took advantage and claimed a 6-5 to take control at the halfway stage.

Joe Cullen himself got off and running to begin the night with a 6-3 victory over Kleermaker 6-3 hitting a 94.5 average and a high checkout of 108 en route.

The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.

All games will be best of 11 legs and each night’s action will commence at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.

All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
