Dobey claims winning start with victory over Teehan, Meulenkamp edges past Leung

The action in the fourteenth night of the PDC Home Tour is at it's halfway stage with victories for 3/4 players so far meaning it could still be won by basically anyone still.

Chris Dobey leads the way on leg difference after seeing off Ciaran Teehan in a 5-2 win to begin the night. The two-time major semi-finalist promised in an interview earlier today that he will do Alan Shearer's trademark celebration if he wins tonight and that could very much happen.

Ron Meulenkamp is next up having seen off Hong Kong ace Kai Fan Leung - who is playing at 2am over there due to the time difference and is currently on two defeats so far as he went on to lose to Irish ace Ciaran Teehan.

Teehan registered his first points at the second attempt easing past the recent fellow new Tour Card holder in a 5-1 victory to keep his chances alive.
