The Group Four action in MODUS A Night at the Darts is at it's halfway stage with Wessel Nijman so far being the standout player.
Nijman is two from two so far having started proceedings off with a 5-3 victory over Martin Adams which saw him hit three 180's to his name.
The Dutchman will be trying to build up steam ahead of trying to make it three group wins out of three so far overall and he took points off the current leader in the overall proceedings in David Evans seeing him off in a 5-4 win.
It could have ended differently though with Evans missing match darts in the decider but despite losing that match, 'Stretch' saw off an out of sorts Kyle McKinstry who only averaged 69 in a 5-0 defeat.
There were also wins for both McKinstry and Martin Adams who both saw off Michael Warburton by 5-1 and 5-4 respectively.
A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.
Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
