The draw and schedule has been confirmed for the 2023 European Darts Grand Prix which is set to take place in a European Tour staple of Sindelfingen in Germany.

Luke Humphries is the defending champion after seeing off Rob Cross last year and will need to make up ground to seal the last spot in the World Cup of Darts team. He could take on Chris Dobey in the second round or Graham Hall who impressed on his last European Tour appearance.

Gerwyn Price finally makes his European Tour return this weekend after missing out on the last four tournaments. He could face Ian White or Ricky Evans.

Among the top first round ties include Liam Maendl-Lawrance who will face Raymond van Barneveld in a clash of styles. Daryl Gurney again faces his stablemate Dylan Slevin, while Simon Whitlock takes on Josh Payne.

Ricardo Pietreczko as a home hope who for the first time will be part of the two highest ranked Germans will face Steve Beaton too.

Josh Rock will face either Keegan Brown or Swiss debutant Marcel Walpen also known by some as the 'Swiss Stompe' who could make his debut at the World Cup of Darts too next month.

Ryan Joyce and Callan Rydz have both withdrawn with Chris Dobey and Krzysztof Ratajski replacing them.
