Draw and schedule confirmed for 2022 Dutch Darts Championship

The draw and schedule has been confirmed ahead of the eighth European Tour tournament of the season in the form of the Dutch Darts Championship which will take place in Zwolle between 27-29 May.

It sees the action shift for the first time this season to the Netherlands with a large contingent of top darting talent including home hero, Michael van Gerwen. As well as Peter Wright and Gerwyn Price.

Van Gerwen faces Sebastian Bialecki or a Host Nation Qualifier, while for Wright, it is Jermaine Wattimena or Rene Eidams. Price takes on Stefan Bellmont or Mervyn King.

Other top Dutch names involved this weekend include Vincent van der Voort and he begins his campaign in one of the standout ties with compatriot and rising star, Danny Jansen.

Dirk van Duijvenbode could also face a Dutchman as he takes on either Mickey Mansell who is in good form on the European Tour or Niels Zonneveld.

Other ties include Joe Cullen facing the winner of Simon Whitlock or Jamie Hughes, while Damon Heta will face either Connor Scutt or Scott Waites. As usual the seeded players come into proceedings on Saturday afternoon with the first round taking precedence on Friday.
