The draw for the 2023 US Darts Master has been completed with some tasty-looking first-round ties sure to bring plenty of drama and excitement to Madison Square Gardens.
Michael van Gerwen has been paired with Jake Macmillan in the first round of the US Darts Masters. During the first day of play, all eight matches from the first round will be played. For Van Gerwen, it will be his fifth participation in this tournament. He won the first edition in 2017, while 'Mighty Mike' lost to Michael Smith in the final last year.
The defending champion starts his tournament against Jim Long. Dimitri van den Bergh kicks off against JT Davis, while Gerwyn Price faces Dutch American Jules van Dongen.
Rob Cross crosses swords with Jason Brandon, and Luke Humphries meets Alex Spellman. Peter Wright meets Jeff Smith in the draw, while Nathan Aspinall will play Matt Campbell.
The eight winners of the first round will advance to the final day. This will take place on the night from Saturday to Sunday. Then the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will be played consecutively.
