The World Seniors Darts Tour (WSDT) has announced the draw for the Champion of Champions tournament, the next televised tournament on the seniors circuit.
This event will take place on March 23 and 24 in Blackpool. The field of participants for this tournament includes eight players, six of whom were invited on a wildcard basis.
Of course, Phil Taylor in his farewell year cannot be missing from this tournament. The 16-time world champion has received a wildcard and will take on BDO icon Martin Adams in the first round.
Leonard Gates is the defending champion at Champion of Champions. He won 13-10 over Richie Howson in the final last year. They will face each other in the first round at the upcoming edition.
Robert Thornton and John Henderson are the other two participants already known. They will play against qualifiers in the first round. From March 8 to 10, 2 more qualifying tournaments will be played in Reading to determine the final two participants.
