Luke Littler booked his place in the Grand Slam of Darts final with a 16–9 win over Danny Noppert, overcoming a fierce early challenge before pulling away in trademark fashion. The 18-year-old superstar, who will officially debut as world number one after the tournament, found his scoring power and finishing at exactly the right moments to break open a tight contest.
The Grand Slam of Darts remains one of the most distinctive events on the PDC calendar. Unlike other majors, such as the World Championship or World Matchplay, the Grand Slam begins with a round-robin group stage, followed by a traditional knockout format featuring 16 players and it is two former champions duking it out for the crown.

Noppert began brilliantly, punishing early opportunities and racing into a 2–0 lead after a superb 120 checkout and a clean kill on tops. Littler responded with an 89 finish, but Noppert restored the cushion with a steady 78. Littler’s 74 checkout ensured he stayed in touch after the opening session.
The momentum shifted sharply after the break. Littler produced a clinical 13-darter to erase Noppert’s break and then thrilled the Wolverhampton crowd with a majestic 145 finish. Although Noppert answered with a 13- and 12-darter to edge 5–4 in front, Littler remained poised. An 80 finish gave Noppert a 6–4 lead, but the teenager immediately reeled him back in.
Littler levelled at 6–6 with finishes of 65 and 11 darts. Noppert edged back ahead after Littler missed two for 7–6, and a brilliant 12-darter made it 8–6. Littler replied with a 14-darter, and from that point, the world champion took full command.
A 12-darter levelled matters again, before Littler moved in front via a composed 64 kill. He surged to 11–9 with a 65 checkout and a 14-darter, then accelerated ruthlessly, reeling off legs with an 11- and 19-darter to move 13–9 clear. With Noppert unable to land key doubles late on, Littler closed out a 16–9 victory with a smooth 13-darter, booking his place in Sunday’s showpiece.

Humphries outguns Price in thriller to join Littler in the final

Luke Humphries produced another high-octane performance to defeat Gerwyn Price 16–13 in a semi-final that delivered every bit of the drama expected from two of the sport’s heaviest hitters.
Price opened with a 13-darter, but Humphries seized control of the first session, hitting back with legs of 14 and 11 darts on his way to a 4–1 advantage. A sensational 142 checkout stretched the lead to 5–1 before Price stabilised with a 72 finish. The Iceman then capitalised on a miss from Humphries to break back with a 14-darter and added a 50 checkout to close the gap to 5–4. Humphries couldn’t take any of his four chances for 6–4, and Price punished him in brutal style with a 151 checkout for parity.
Price moved ahead for the first time since the opening leg with a 100 finish to make it 7–6, but Humphries unleashed a devastating surge before the interval—throwing a 10-darter followed by a 12-darter to reclaim an 8–7 lead at the break.
Price again fought back, levelling at 9–9 with a 13-darter and a tidy 120 finish. But a poor visit in the next leg allowed Humphries to break, and the world number one consolidated with a 16-darter for 11–9. Price responded with a 112 finish and then took advantage of four missed doubles from Humphries to square again at 11–11.
Humphries struck back instantly with a 12-darter against the throw. Price missed two darts to level, and Humphries made him pay on double 3 for 13–11. That proved the turning point. Although Price conjured an 11-darter and then pinned double 10 to close to 14–13, Humphries remained composed. A superb 12-darter restored daylight at 15–13, and after Price missed a final chance to stay alive, Cool Hand Luke sealed it on double 5 to book a blockbuster final showdown with Littler.
