Jermaine Wattimena and Glen Durrant have reached the second round at the World Grand Prix after comeback wins against Krzysztof Ratajski and Adrian Lewis respectively.

Ratajski kicked off brilliantly against Durrant as he took the first set with 100.20 average. But in the second set the Pole missed too many doubles, while Durrant hit a 13-darter en route to a 3-1 win in the second set.

Durrant came 2-0 ahead in the decider, before The Polish Eagle reduced the deficit with a 32 checkout. He also had chances to level the match, but missed two darts on double 19. Duzza then took out 98 to book his place in the second round.

Wattimena saw off 2010 finalist Adrian Lewis to move into the second round. Important moment in the match was the third leg in set two, where Lewis missed two darts on double 14. The Machine Gun took over the lead and hit double 16 to claim the second set. Wattimena won the third set 3-0 to move into the second round for a second consecutive year.
