Evetts, Meikle and Williams among quarter-finalists on PDC Development Tour 6

Ted Evetts, Ryan Meikle and Lewis Williams are among the eight players who reached the quarter-finals during the sixth event of the PDC Development Tour.

Evetts overcame Keane Barry after a leg-decider to progress to the last eight. Meikle booked victories over the likes of Berry van Peer and Adam Paxton, while Williams defeated Danny van Trijp and Thomas Lovely.

The Development Tour is the PDC's youth circuit. This tour is open to players between the ages of 16 and 23, when they are not in the top 32 of the PDC Order of Merit on January 2, 2020.

Following Sunday's Event Ten, the top two players from the final Development Tour Order of Merit will win a two-year PDC Tour Card and a place in the 2020/21 William Hill World Darts Championship.

In addition, players from the Development Tour Order of Merit will progress to compete in Monday's PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship Last 96.
