Germany ease through to World Cup of Darts Quarter-Finals

Germany are the penultimate country through to the Quarter-Finals at the World Cup of Darts after seeing off Greece in a clean sweep victory.

Gabriel Clemens started proceedings off against John Michael who formed part of an impressive effort for the duo yesterday in defeating Sweden.

But he wasn't at the races against 'The German Giant' hitting just 11% on the doubles and Clemens took advantage with a 95 average, four 180's and 50% on the doubles in a near complete display winning 4-1.

It was then the turn of Max Hopp to finish proceedings off and he did so with a 4-0 whitewash win over Veniamin Symeonidis. He was similarly impressive with the latter missing all four shots at double and 'The Maximiser' pinning 40% on doubles with a high checkout of 102.
