Gerwyn Price continues recent renaissance as Luke Humphries survives Dobey test on Night 2 of 2025 Premier League Darts

Completing the semi-final lineup on Night Two of the 2025 Premier League Darts in Glasgow, Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries have secured their spot in the final four.

In a battle of the two most controversial Premier League Darts selections for this current season, it was Gerwyn Price who proved himself most worthy, getting his first points on the board for this campaign in the process, thanks to a 6-4 win over The Asp.

Price, who has picked up a first Pro Tour title since 2023 over the week in between Premier League Darts appearances, had the advantage of throw and as such, kept nudging himself infront as the first all went with the darts. As the Welshman then broke the Aspinall throw to move 4-2 up he was in full control.

As has been proven so often over the years though, Aspinall is a fighter and never knows when he's beat. Thanks to some brilliant finishing, the two time major winner kept himself in contact, but then fatally missed two darts at double eight to ahead at 5-4. Price punished and then broke throw in leg 10 to get the 6-4 victory.

In the last of the four quarter-finals, Luke Humphries and Chris Dobey did battle in a repeat of the final from one week ago in Belfast. Humphries took the victory in that final last week, relatively comfortably too with a 6-1 win. Holding throw dominantly in the opening leg of this one brought some ominous signs from the world number one too.

Dobey though, wasn't to be beaten quite so easily this time around, keeping touch with Humphries and then getting the first break of the match in leg 5 to lead 3-2. After the next couple of legs went with the darts, Humphries regained control of the tie by breaking back to level the contest at 4-4. After an 81 checkout made it 5-4 to 'Cool Hand', he sealed the 6-4 victory moments later.
