A heavy feature of the PDC Women's Series has been the clashes between Mikuru Suzuki and Beau Greaves over the past year and the top two seeds will now face off in the final of the 2023 PDC Women's World Matchplay.
The winner qualifies for the World Championship and Grand Slam of Darts, this would then give Fallon Sherrock a likely lifeline with the next two in the Order of Merit qualifying for Ally Pally.
Greaves took down Robyn Byrne 5-3 in her semi-final win. 'Beau N Arrow' like in her opener against Noa-Lynn van Leuven was very much not out of second gear and just doing enough.
This was until a late surge which saw the WDF World Champion hit a 101 checkout and leave 11 after nine, eventually taking out double one with Byrne way back to seal her spot.
Being the favourite for the title, she has yet to produce her best but may need a better display to see off a familiar rival in Mikuru Suzuki.
Suzuki took down Lisa Ashton who defeated Fallon Sherrock earlier in a 5-3 victory. Albeit only averaging 75 compared to her tournament record 92 earlier, she produced the goods in the back end of the tie.
She breezed into a 3-0 lead with a 100 checkout but Ashton came back to make it 3-2.
A 162 to leave 32 though saw Suzuki go one away at 4-2 which she pinned and she went even better.
'The Miracle' was throwing for the win and produced a superb 180 to leave double eight under the cosh. She hit double four with Ashton sitting on 68 to force a decider.

How much prize money is up for grabs at the Women's World Matchplay

The top eight players in the PDC Women's Series get to share a £25,000 prize pool. The eight participants are all guaranteed £1250 in prize money.
A win in the quarter-finals doubles that amount to £2,500. The losing finalist will go home with £5000. A cheque for £10,000 pounds awaits the first winner of the Women's World Matchplay.
