This event is the tournament that guarantees surprises every year. The opening night takes place on Monday, October 6, starting at 6:00 PM. The first round then begins, spread over two evenings. The first round includes a total of sixteen matches, played in a best-of-3 sets format.

From Wednesday, October 8, the second round begins. Broadcasts will start an hour later at 7:00 PM, and the match format will be longer. Players must win three sets to reach the quarterfinals. The quarterfinals of the World Grand Prix will be played on Friday, October 10. Here, the format remains best-of-5 sets, meaning three sets won are enough to secure a spot in the last four. On Saturday, October 11, the tension increases further with the semifinals. Starting at 8:00 PM, matches will be played over best-of-9 sets. That means five sets are needed to secure a place in the final.

The climax follows on Sunday, October 12, from 8:00 PM. In the final of the 2025 World Grand Prix, the winner must claim six sets. The first player to reach this milestone will lift the trophy and be crowned champion of this unique tournament.

Around the world, it will be shown in Netherlands, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Bulgaria and Baltic States on Viaplay. DAZN show the tournament in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
