Wayne Mardle looks ahead to the upcoming round of Premier League Darts play for William Hill. Last week, "Hawaii 501" came up with a surprising prediction.
After predicting Humphries for weeks, he then chose Gerwyn Price.
''I did something stupid last week and I got berated for it. I jumped from the Luke Humphries ship on to the boat of Gerwyn Price. It didn't work out well," Mardle acknowledged. By the way, Humphries didn't win it then either, losing in his first match to eventual weekly winner Luke Littler.
Mardle now returns to the old plan and thinks Humphries will run away with the weekly title this time. ''We're back on the Humphries train again. He's playing the best darts of anyone and I think that he's the most likely to win. I think that no matter who stands in front of Luke Humphries, he's the best player. We can't neglect Luke Humphries again.''
