"I just need to process it": Perez confirms visa issues all but sorted, plans to play fully in 2024

It's been a good few days for Christian Perez. Making the quarter-finals on his Players Championship debut earlier this week and now safely guiding Philippines into the knockout stages of the World Cup of Darts.

It seems as well, that the visa issues that have plagued his 2023 season ever since winning a Tour Card at Q-school, are finally behind him. "It's really amazing that we go through this far," Perez tells Online Darts after Philippines 4-1 win over the Czech Republic. "Everybody back home is very happy with our achievement."

"This time we prepared for everything," Perez continued before his teammate Lourence Ilagan chimes in. "Honestly he sleeps with me more than with his wife!"

Attention then turned to Perez's battle to gain a visa that would allow him to compete on the Pro Tour. "It's not settled yet but next year I'll definitely be in the UK and playing everything," he explains. "I need to process it and then everything is okay."
