We definitely saw an improvement in performance from Price this weekend, which he said would come when the Euro Tours came around. The Wieze crowd idolised him & when he gets a level playing field he produces his best stuff. 🎯🏴 @Gezzyprice
Gerwyn Price could briefly dream of a second PDC title on Belgian soil Sunday night, but ended up losing in the semifinals to eventual runner-up, Rob Cross.
Price, who had won the 2020 Belgian Darts Championship, came out with a positive statement afterwards on Instagram. ''I played a bit better this weekend. I'm not back yet, but it's getting there,'' he wrote.
The Welshman then also praised the Belgian fans in Wieze. ''Belgium you were absolutely amazing for me and I loved every minute of it. Thank you so much and I'll see you all next year.''
