Special moment at the Belgian Darts Open last weekend: European figure skating champion Loena Hendrickx got to have her picture taken there with Gerwyn Price.
Hendrickx, who last month became European champion in figure skating for the first time in her career, was a guest at the Belgian Darts Open in Wieze last weekend. She came especially for her favourite player Gerwyn Price.

"Normally I'm never starstruck. But when I saw Gerwyn Price today, I was. So the greeting was very cordial, including hugs, signing and photo opportunities," Hendrickx told VTM 2.
Hendrick could enjoy the atmosphere in the Oktoberhallen, though. "What an ambiance here ... (laughs) just a little different than during figure skating. I've been playing some darts myself and do enjoy doing it in my spare time. It's also great to see it in real life. Only during Price's match I was up with nerves. So exciting."
Despite a strong tournament, Price eventually lost out in the semi-finals 7-3 to Rob Cross.
