"I would like to see a lot of the top pros have a go at this, because it is really tough" - Adam Hunt reacts to dramatic final day at Q-School

Adam Hunt returns to the Pro Tour after a one-year absence. The 30-year-old Englishman captured a PDC Tour Card for the next two years on the final day of Q-School.

Hunt lost 6-5 to Joshua Richardson in the semifinals, but did just about enough to finish tenth in the Q-School Order of Merit, the final spot for which Tour Cards were to be distributed. Going down to leg difference, Hunt eventually finished with one more leg won than the number eleven Darren Webster.

"I had no idea! When I got beat I thought I was out," Hunt admits to Dan Dawson post-match. "Just before I went on someone said 'You might be in'. Then I'm thinking a thousand things through the game. My brain was mushed for the whole game there."

'The Hunter' reached the last sixteen at the Grand Slam of Darts as recently as 2020 and has also been in action three times at the World Darts Championship. "This is the most intense part of darts you'll ever get. I would like to see a lot of the top pros have a go at this because it is really tough. It plays with your mind, there's a lot of things going on with the permutations and things. It's so tough but I'm just glad I got through."
