“If I play my game, they cannot beat me and they know it”: Van Gerwen sets sights on fourth PDC World Darts Championship crown

Michael van Gerwen will head into the PDC World Darts Championship once again as favourite but rightfully so after sweeping most of the majors this season including the Players Championship Finals.

An ominous tournament win for the Green Machine, he now sets his sights on finally winning a fourth World title.

“If people want to beat me they have to play well,” said the three-time World Champion.

“If I play my game, they cannot beat me and they know it.“I have to show what I can do, whoever it is against – Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright – I want to show what I can do.“I’m there, I did my thing this year, I won a lot of tournaments and now I have to show it at the World Championship.”
