Peter Wright managed to win a match last week for the first time in this year's Premier League Darts. 'Snakebite,' is now keen to continue that momentum on Night 8 in Dublin.

Wright won over Gerwyn Price in the quarterfinals last week, but then went down 6-1 against Luke Humphries. A rematch in his quarterfinal against Humphries follows tonight in Dublin. “I’m still enjoying every single week,” said Wright, who is currently nine points short of a playoff spot. “I want to take points off everyone in the next few weeks, and if I can squeeze in the top four that’s great, but if I don’t, I’m going to enjoy it."
"I felt like I was competing last week. I was scoring well, and I enjoyed playing with that set-up," continued the 54-year-old Scot.
Therefore, despite his lesser results in this season's Premier League Darts, Wright does not despair. "I’m feeling positive. My Premier League results haven’t been affecting me in other tournaments; I’ve been getting some consistent results on the floor, so I’m happy with that.”
