In-form De Sousa claims back-to-back wins to lead latest PDC Home Tour play-offs group at halfway stage

Jose de Sousa continues to show his form in the PDC Home Tour after claiming back-to-back wins on Night Seven of the Play-Offs.
De Sousa who produced one of the best performances in the first phase began his campaign with a 6-1 win over Jamie Hughes with a 103.5 average.
From there he followed that up by edging past Jesus Noguera in a 6-4 win with a 95.8 average and a high checkout of 156 as he proved he will be very hard to beat tonight.
One player that could though is Nathan Aspinall. He has one win from his solitary game so far also edging past Jesus Noguera 6-4 with a 91 average, can the World Number Seven move through or will it fall to 'The Special One' to continue his brilliance?
The players who win Groups One-Four will go onto Semi-Final One on Wednesday June 3 with the winners from Groups Five-Eight set to play on Thursday June 4 before that aforementioned Championship Group.
All games will be best of 11 legs and each night’s action will commence at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
All PDC Home Tour action will be broadcast live on PDCTV for free to all registered PDCTV users; regardless of whether you have a paid or free membership.
In addition all live-scores can be followed on DartConnect; with match statistics being available after every match.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
