Ricardo Pietreczko has announced a personal restructuring to kick off the new PDC season. On his
Instagram account, Germany’s number two explained that his partnership with equipment supplier Datadart is ending after four years. The decision comes during a phase of athletic and organizational realignment.
In his detailed statement, Pietreczko struck a deliberately appreciative tone. He spoke of four years marked by trust, support, and many shared moments, and explicitly thanked them for their consistent backing throughout this time. At the same time, the 31-year-old made it clear that a new chapter with new challenges and clear goals is now beginning for him.
Sporting focus despite upheaval
As part of the announcement, Pietreczko also deliberately turned the focus to the sporting side. “The next steps are coming up,” he wrote with an eye on qualification for the
Winmau World Masters 2026. Preparations are underway, the focus is fully there, and he is looking forward to the next big challenge. Despite the changes away from the oche, Pietreczko emphasized that he will give everything as usual.
On the sporting front, however, the start to the 2026 season did not go as hoped for the German. In the preliminary round of the
Winmau World Masters, he lost 2-3 to Jeffrey de Zwaan on Wednesday and exited at the first hurdle.
After the early exit, Pietreczko’s attention now turns to the tasks ahead. On 09/022026 he returns to action in Hildesheim, where the first two events of the 2026 Players Championship season will be held. It is currently unknown which equipment supplier Pietreczko will be contracted to in the future.
