James Wade and Lorraine Winstanley involved in winning team for annual fishing championships; Luke Littler also catches 'The Big Fish'

James Wade and Lorraine Winstanley were part of the team that recently won the Sports Star Fishing Championship.

The annual event is participated in by British stars from all walks of life, and it has raised much-needed money for a range of charities in recent years. This year, funds were raised for the Willow Foundation. This charity is dedicated to helping sick people aged 16 to 40 and tries to ensure they can still make fond memories with their loved one.

The lineup included PDC president Barry Hearn, teen sensation Luke Littler, former world champion Rob Cross, two-time world champion Adrian Lewis, eleven-time major winner James Wade and former Lakeside finalist Lorraine Winstanley.

Wade and Winstanley were on the same team, which was further completed by six-time snooker world champion Steve Davis and television boss Gary Newbon.

Littler's Instagram account showed that ‘The Nuke’ also managed to catch ‘The Big Fish’. Normally, people speak of throwing ‘The Big Fish’ when a player throws a 170 finish, but this time Littler had a real ‘big fish’ in his hands.
