Jansen dumps out Van der Voort in dramatic Dutch duel, Chisnall superb in Razma win

The first round is complete at the Dutch Darts Championship as Danny Jansen and Dave Chisnall have moved into Saturday's proceedings in Zwolle.

With his army of fans decked out in the hottest new merch in darts in the form of the Danny 'The Mullet' Jansen shirts, it was the rising Dutch star who will move through after surviving match darts en route to a dramatic win over Vincent van der Voort.

He went 2-1 up early on with a 101 checkout before having his throw broken with a 76 checkout from Van der Voort before 'The Dutch Destroyer' stretched his lead to 4-2 with double 12.

Jansen bided his time and broke with a 64 checkout himself to make it 4-4 but was broken straight back. Van der Voort missed match darts and Jansen pinned double 10 to send it all the way before pinning double 20 in the decider to seal it. He will now play Michael Smith tomorrow.

While Chisnall is set to face Jose de Sousa tomorrow afternoon after turning on the style in a superb 6-2 win over Madars Razma.

He fired in legs of 11, 12 and 14 darts in the closing stages to surge ahead of the Latvian in a tie where he averaged 97, hit two 180's despite missing 12 darts at double.
