King dumps out Price, Smith produces superb display to down Jansen

Gerwyn Price will not be in the line-up for the final day of action at the Dutch Darts Championship with Mervyn King accounting for the Iceman to conclude proceedings.

Price who had not appeared in the European Tour since his fracas with Adrian Lewis in Prague continues his poor form in these events since winning the first of the year.

'The King' kept his cool to edge through on double four with Price sat on 40 to win in the decider on his throw in a closely fought battle throughout.

While for Michael Smith and Chris Dobey in moving through, it was two superb displays. 'Bully Boy' fresh off winning his first Premier Leaguer Darts night to conclude his campaign was facing rising Dutch star, Danny Jansen.

He rose to the challenge to down 'The Mullet' 6-4 with a 105.79 average and six 180's en route and he was joined by Dobey who averaged 97 in seeing off Ritchie Edhouse 6-1 in a dominant display from the Bedlington ace who finished it off in style with an 11-darter.
