Boris Krcmar and
Ryan Meikle have become the first two winners at the start of the first round at the
Dutch Darts Championship in Zwolle.
Krcmar had to spend the entire match in pursuit of a break against Lennon, who started the odd legs. The Irishman made no mistakes, while the Croatian also held his own throw five times. In the eleventh leg it went wrong for Lennon, who saw Krcmar throw an 11-darter for a place in the second round.
Meikle took care of Andy Boulton to reach the last 32. The Englishman broke Boulton in the second leg with a great 164 finish and eventually prevailed 6-1 against 'X-Factor'.
