Least amount of seeded players eliminated in Last 64 at PDC World Darts Championship since 2017

The 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship will resume after the Christmas break with most of the seeded players in the draw coming through their opening ties unscathed at the Alexandra Palace.

In fact it is the least amount of seeded players falling by the wayside in the Last 64 since 2017 when there was also six which was the second least amount behind five in 2013.

Those who have gone out of the tournament at the Last 64 stage this year include former World Champions Rob Cross and Adrian Lewis. As well as Michael Smith who was dumped out by Jason Lowe.

Jamie Hughes, Jeffrey de Zwaan, Ian White are the other players who also fell at their first hurdle at the showpiece event.
