UK and European Q-School Day Two concluded with a total of 32 players booking their places in the Final Stage, where PDC Tour Cards will be decided. Across both events, a mix of returning names, established Pro Tour performers and emerging contenders navigated a long and unforgiving day of knockout darts, with Steve Beaton providing the standout UK storyline as he secured his place alongside 15 others, while a strong European contingent also emerged to complete the Final Stage line-up.
Beaton progressed cleanly through the day’s latter stages, defeating John Brown in the Last 128, Keelan Kay in the Last 64 and then Darren Armstrong in the Last 32 to confirm his place among the Final Stage qualifiers. It marked a composed and controlled run from one of the most experienced players in the field.

Familiar names safely through as experience tells

Several other recognisable names also negotiated Day Two successfully. Harry Ward came through a demanding set of matches, culminating in a Last 32 win over Jarred Cole, while Ciaran Teehan continued his steady progress through the brackets before seeing off Dale Gadsby to secure qualification.
Chas Barstow again showed his scoring power at key moments, edging out Adam Leek in a high-quality Last 32 encounter, while Stephen Rosney advanced with authority, defeating Damien O’Driscoll to keep his Tour Card hopes alive.

Sharp sets the standard as lesser known names break through

Among the less established names, David Sharp produced the performance of the day, averaging 104.46 earlier in the session and later overcoming Jamie Kelling in the Last 32 to top a standout run. Sharp was joined in the Final Stage by Niall Culleton, Shaun Carroll, Damien Grimes, Harrison Leigh, Ryan Furness, Thomas Cromwell, Andrew Cass, Daniel Ayres and Jordan Lee Rawlings, all of whom successfully navigated the pressure of multiple knockout rounds.

European Q-School qualifiers add further depth to Final Stage line-up

Those UK qualifiers will be joined in the Final Stage by a strong European contingent, led by several well-established names on the international circuit. Cristo Reyes, David Cameron, Jeffrey de Zwaan, Jeffrey Sparidaans and Boris Krcmar all came through the Last 32 at European Q-School, ensuring proven Pro Tour experience will be part of the mix when Tour Cards are decided.
Also progressing from the European event were Pal Szekely, Damian Vetjens, Nandor Major, Davy Proosten, Dennis van Bergen, Ruben Lopez, Zvonimir Lesic, Jason Riedtke, Bjorn Quoiffy, Luitsen Elzinga and Jeroen Caron, rounding out a 16-player group that adds further depth and competition to an already stacked Final Stage field.
