It saw him well ahead of the chasing pack with Paul Nicholson finishing four points behind and Mark Webster similarly despite the duo both impressing once again; with Andy Jenkins just behind on four points.
Stephen Burton and John Brown will also hope to improve after varied success on their opening days.
Both are making their debuts this week with Burton being a two time Challenge Tour winner and former World Championship participant.
While Brown is the son of current Tour Card holder and JDC Chairman, Steve ‘The Bomber’ Brown; with the Bristol ace competing mainly on the Development Tour.
There will be 15 games a day which will be best of 7 legs with two Pools set to be involved as usual. It begins everyday as a result at 10:30 am running till 5:00 pm and sees live action continue.
