Luke Littler and
Luke Humphries faced each other again on Thursday night, the fourth time this season. They first met on Jan. 3 in the World Championship final and that match was won 7-4 by 'Cool Hand Luke'.
But after Humphries won the main showdown between the two Englishmen, the three clashes after that were all a breeze for the 17-year-old Littler.
The English teenage sensation defeated Humphries 6-5 at the Dutch Darts Masters in Den Bosch, and then won 6-2 over the reigning world champion during the first round of the
Premier League Darts in Cardiff. Thursday night in Berlin it was 6-5 for 'The Nuke'.
Still, Humphries left the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin with a smile on his face when he was spotted by one of the PDC's backstage cameras. The camera noticed Humphries, after which the world number one promised to take revenge on Littler. ''I'm going to get him, I'm going to get him again,'' Humphries laughed as he walked out of the venue.
