''The other ones aren’t working under pressure" - Peter Wright goes back on his word and changes darts again

A defeat with perspective, that's how Peter Wright's loss against Luke Humphries during the second night of play in the 2024 Premier League Darts could be described.

After an improved performance, Wright had to concede 6-4 to the reigning world champion. 'Snakebite' had once again brought another set of arrows, despite the Scot having expressed his desire to play the entire Premier League with one set.

“I’ve gone back on my word and changed my darts,'' Wright acknowledged after his defeat against Humphries in conversation with Oche180.

The two-time world champion then explained why he changed sets of darts anyway. ''The other ones aren’t working under pressure.

I’ve gone back to the ones which I won the European with. I’m doing all the stuff that I know that works.”
