Modus brought a double-header of darting entertainment to Scotland last night, with packed crowds in both Dumfries and Edinburgh treated to big names, local favourites and two men who look more than ready for the big stage next month: Gary Anderson and Luke Littler.
And while these nights are built on laughs as much as legs, the on-stage action delivered plenty of talking points as two familiar headliners walked away with the biggest cheers and the final wins.

Anderson dominates Dumfries

The Dumfries & Galloway Masters saw Gary Anderson produce exactly the kind of no-fuss, high-quality stuff you expect from him in front of a home Scottish crowd.
Anderson opened the night with a clinical 3–0 win over Andrew Broll and never looked in danger from there. Robert Thornton edged a tight one against Miller Henderson before Justin Nicol stunned Fallon Sherrock 3–2, while Cameron Menzies swept past Colin Nicholl.
Semi-finals went with the formbook: Anderson beat Nicol 3–1, and Menzies got the better of Thornton by the same scoreline to set up an all-Scottish final.
Anderson closed it out 4–2 against Menzies to claim the Dumfries title — a tidy night’s work and another signal that he’s dialling in nicely ahead of Ally Pally.

Littler headlines in Edinburgh

Edinburgh’s exhibition card was stacked with crowd-pleasers and produced a busy rotation of matches, but two performances stood out: Luke Littler and Daryl Gurney.
Nathan Aspinall kicked off with a tight 3–2 win over John Henderson before Littler got the crowd going with a 3–1 win against Ricky Evans. Gurney followed with a strong pair of results — a 3–1 success over Willie Borland and a 3–0 whitewash of Henderson.
The main event was a box-office matchup between Littler and Aspinall, and the 18-year-old once again delivered the goods. “The Nuke” sealed a 4–2 win to round off the night, another composed showing as he sharpens up for the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship.
Modus wrapped the event by thanking another sold-out Scottish crowd — and they certainly got their money’s worth.
