A new PDC Form Guide has been released, offering an alternative world ranking based solely on the last 200 legs played in official matches by all Tour Card holders. Unsurprisingly, Luke Littler, who won his first world title earlier this year and has been on a winning streak ever since, tops the rankings. In an impressive second place is Gian van Veen
Littler has been in outstanding form, winning the UK Open and Belgian Darts Open in recent weeks. In his last ten official matches, he has consistently averaged over 100. Over his last 200 legs, the 18-year-old Englishman has recorded an astonishing 103.27 average with a 45.07% checkout rate. His scoring power sets him apart, as he and Van Veen are the only players in this ranking to average over 100. On the official world rankings, ‘The Nuke’ sits in second place, trailing the dominant Luke Humphries.
Gian van Veen, the 22-year-old Dutchman, holds second place in the PDC Form Guide with a 100.19 average and a 46.01% checkout success rate over his last 200 legs. On the official world rankings, he currently sits at number 24.
Reigning world champion and current world number one Luke Humphries rounds out the top three in this Form Guide. The 30-year-old Englishman has averaged 99.64 over his last 200 legs, with a 38.33% checkout rate.
Another name worth noting is Michael van Gerwen. The Dutchman has been going through what many perceive to be a poor run of form of late - at least by his own high standards. Nevertheless, 'Mighty Mike' retains a place in the top 10 of the most in form PDC players. Van Gerwen ranks sixth with a 98.18 average and a 39.67% checkout rate over the course of his last 200 legs played, perhaps showing his recent run hasn't been quite as bad as some might make out.
PDC Stats Analyst @ochepedia assesses the top ten stars - based on their last 200 legs played - with Gian van Veen the closest challenger to Luke Littler!
