Teen sensation
Luke Littler will show his support for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by wearing the charity's logo during
Premier League Darts 2024.
The darts competition is sponsored by a betting company but because the 17-year-old Littler is still a minor, he is not allowed to wear the BetMGM logo. During the TOTO Dutch Darts Masters, this was solved by having 'The Nuke' wear the logo of Fonds Gehandicapten Sport.
So now the choice is MNDA. They are dedicated to helping people who have been diagnosed with motor neurone disease. Littler deliberately chose this foundation.
"Being a rugby league fan I've seen the amazing fundraising work done for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, particularly by Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield in recent years," said Littler. "The MNDA are doing so much important work and when I found out that I had a space available to support a charity on my shirt I wanted to back them."
