Martin Lukeman is through to the Quarter-Finals of the
World Grand Prix after seeing off Ross Smith in the deciding leg in Leicester.
Lukeman recovered after a miscount in the previous leg which allowed Smith a chance to send it all the way but had no such issues next time around as he sealed a tie against either Nathan Aspinall or Danny Noppert.
Smith sealed the opening set in a deciding leg after taking out 67 following two missed set darts from his opponent.

But Lukeman pinned double 10 to send it the distance again. Smith missed two set darts and Lukeman responded on double 20. ‘Smash’ suddenly turned the tables with a sweep to go 2-1 up in sets.
