Luke Littler blitzes past Luke Humphries on Premier League debut to set up semi-final with Michael Smith, after BullyBoy takes victory over van Gerwen in Cardiff

Luke Littler has made an immediate impact on Premier League Darts debut, gaining a minor form of revenge over Luke Humphries in Cardiff. Michael Smith awaits in the semi-finals after BullyBoy earlier took the win over Michael van Gerwen.

Van Gerwen fell behind right away against "Bullyboy," while Smith managed to take a 2-0 lead with a 120 finish. Van Gerwen came back to 2-2 before Smith regained a two-leg lead. A 14-darter and double 1 made it 4-2 for the Englishman.

A 13-darter then brought Van Gerwen back to 3-4 before the Dutchman erased a break deficit for the second time with a 14-darter. Van Gerwen then reached 5-4 via a 13-darter, before Smith forced a deciding leg with a 77 checkout.

Van Gerwen then got to start the final leg and opened with a 140 score, but then recorded five innings without a triple. Smith thundered over and decided the match with a 60 finish.

In the semifinals, 'Bullyboy' will play against Luke Littler. The 17-year-old teenage sensation knocked Luke Humphries 6-2 in a duel between two debutants. Littler managed to record an immediate 100+ average in Premier League Darts with an average of 100.30. The other semifinal is between Gerwyn Price and Rob Cross.
